Reunion Information

REUNION IX

THE PARTY IS OVER FOR 2011...BUT...REUNION X WILL BE IN THE GREAT PACIFIC NORTHWEST IN 2013! USS ALEXANDER HAMILTON REUNION #10 IS ON THE WAY. IN FACT, JUST HEARD FROM JOHN BRAASCH THAT THE REUNION LOCATION WILL BE IN SILVERDALE, WASHINGTON. THAT ISN'T FAR FROM THE BANGOR SUBMARINE BASE AND THE CURRENT TARGET DATE IS THE 2ND WEEK IN SEPTEMBER 2013.

NEWSFLASH! NEW NEWSLETTER!

One of the outcomes of this latest reunion was that Roger Gibson became inspired to startup a Reunion Association News Letter. A copy has been shipped to those that have a "good" e-mail address listed with the Association. I have a copy linked here for your reading pleasure. Thanks, Roger! Your first effort is a winner in my book. Click Here: USS Alexander Hamilton SSBN-617 Newletter, Volume 1 Issue 1, December 2011

AS WE SIT IN SILENT PRAYER
WITH THOUGHTS THAT USED TO BE,
WE'RE SADDENDED THAT OUR FRIENDS ARE GONE
BUT WE KNOW THEIR SOULS ARE FREE.
WE REMEMBER THEM FOR WHAT THEY WERE,
OUR PRAYERS GO OUT TO EACH OF THEM

THE STRAIGHT SKINNY ON YOUR ASSOCIATION DUES

The Reunion Association would like to make sure we all understand the importance of the Alexander Hamilton Association dues. If your name is highlighted on the crew list page, your dues are paid up. As in the past the cost per crewmember is $20.00 total for both years. This will provide us up front money for the next reunion, mailing costs, etc. Membership also gives shipmates a vote in any decisions that will be made with regard to the Association. Please send your dues $$ to Jim Koogler's address above. We thank you for your continued support.

LEST WE FORGET......THE BELL TOLLING CEREMONY WILL BE PART OF EACH REUNION TO REMEMBER THOSE WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE:

TO THE LIST OF DEPARTED SHIPMATES
